We’ll focus on learning about challenges and issues in education from pre-K through higher education.  We’ll study Strengths-Based Leadership, under the direction of exceptional trainer, Leigh Anne Taylor Knight, ’10. We’ll visit the Missouri Legislature, the Missouri Supreme Court, the Jefferson City Correctional Center, and the Missouri Governor’s Mansion, meeting exceptional leaders along the way and learning from them about issues facing our state.

Our Woman of the Year event is being planned under the WOY Team Leadership of Roz Cochran, ’14, NeighborWorks America, and Jennifer Ingraham, ’08, UMKC Foundation.  The event is planned for Wednesday, May 22 in Kansas City, and will honor our 2019 Woman of the Year, Jean Peters Baker at a luncheon at Grand Street Cafe.  More details will follow soon, but please Save this Date, as it is bound to be inspiring and fun!
