Two notable #GreaterMO women and Kansas City leaders were recently announced as awardees of The Annual 2024 InnovateHER Awards. Thalia Cherry, Class of 2012, was the recipient of the Entrepreneur of The Year Award, and Theresa Garza, Class of 2024, was the recipient of the Civic Leader of The Year Award. Thalia is the Founder & CEO of Cherry Co, a company that sells fashion forward apparel for men & women. Theresa is Regional Manager, Government Affairs for Spire Energy and serves as an Alderwoman for the City of Raytown. 

InnovateHER Kansas City aims to serve, develop, and connect women leaders so they can accomplish incredible things. The annual awards ceremony honors women in the Kansas City area who enact radical, positive change in their communities.
