Peggy Ladd, Alumna 2008, has accepted a new challenge!
After 5 years of working to rebuild her family farm, following the death of her father in 1993 and mother in 2008, Peggy announced that ” the bison have arrived”. The first trailers delivered a cow, calf and bull on October 5th. They will receive 18 more over the next couple of weeks.
This is Peggy’s 3rd career: 16 years as a bio-medical engineer. 17 years in the electric utility world and now the owner of Klondike Bison. Peggy has 2 high-end “farm to table” restaurant managers/developers and 2 high-end butcher shops interested in the meat, as well as individuals who would like to buy “quarters or halves”.
Klondike Bison is operational and will begin taking meat orders in 2020 for 2021.
Congratulations Peggy!!
