Congratulations to Elizabeth Wheeler who is shifting to become the Director of Major Gifts for the College of Arts & Sciences at UMKC! She will be moving just one building over and working for the College she graduated from. 💙💛

Elizabeth is an enthusiastic fundraiser who has the great privilege of making the world a better place through philanthropy. She had been working for the School of Computing and Engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City

As a volunteer Assistant Coach for Girls on the Run, Elizabeth enjoys inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident. Elizabeth also proudly serves on the Fund Development Committee of the AIDS Service Foundation, and regularly volunteers for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Nonprofit Connect, and the Kansas City Anti Violence Project (KCAVP).

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from UMKC as well as a Master of Public Administration degree from the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at UMKC.

When she’s not working or volunteering, Elizabeth enjoys gardening, traveling with her husband, and jogging with her dogs.
