As we enter the last month of the year, we are thankful to you for your support of Greater Missouri.

Although we are still in a pandemic, because of you we have been able to continue our work to educate and inspire women leaders to make a difference by providing educational opportunities related to the advancement of women. During the past two years as I have served as the President of the Board of Directors, we have had successful sessions (both virtual and in person) to prepare women to provide service to their communities. Missourians are excited about making a difference in their communities around policies and procedures in their businesses, in the board room, on a board or commission, and in local school boards, county, city and state governments. As we near the end of 2021 and chart the path forward, we know now more than ever that women are the ones taking on the world’s greatest challenges. Our opportunity to impact others has only begun.

Since our inception, our organization has run with a core of volunteers who assist us with our operations and programming. Our organization is growing, which is exciting. We have welcomed new sponsors and are encouraged that many have raised their hands to assist with operations and programming. Organizations of all shapes and sizes rely on volunteers to turn their missions into concrete action. We want to ensure that our organization is sustainable and that we build a legacy for future generations of Missouri women leaders.

In my experience with Greater Missouri, I have personally witnessed the dedication and commitment of the organization to empower women, offer diversity of thought, and include women in all levels of business and society. As I transition to the Immediate Past President role, I am honored to further support the program as an engaged alumna.

Thank you for joining me in supporting our new board chair Rosalind (Roz) Cochran as she takes over the reins.
