I would like to usher in 2021 with some gratitude. As we come up to the one-year anniversary of this terrible pandemic, I wanted to say thank you on behalf of Greater Missouri to everyone that helped us reach our goals. As an organization that works to engage and empower women in-person through our successful seminars, 2020 challenged us in fundamental ways, and your advice, attendance at send-off events, work on the regional planning committees, sponsorship and/or tickets purchased for our Woman of the Year annual fundraiser, renewal of your alumnae dues, and/or financial support by honoring your annual donation commitment has been crucial to us weathering this unprecedented moment.
I also have to thank all of our alumnae and supporters who connected with us virtually– either through our board or committee meetings, speaking to our challenge class participants, past Women of the Year honorees joining us for our Inspiring Conversations Series, or as participants themselves in our new virtual seminars. Your willingness to trust us as we pivoted to virtual programming has also been crucial to sustaining us. I am hopeful about what 2021 has in store for Greater Missouri and I feel confident that with the commitment of our alumnae, friends, sponsors and alumni that we will do great things.
Onwards!
