Fourth meeting of the day…check. Pick kids up from practice…check. Order more masks…check. You get the picture! Pandemic living introduced stressors into our lives we never imagined and of course we’ve adjusted. However, it is important for us to check in with ourselves, rest, energize and calibrate. Slow down. Take a deep breath. Inhale! Exhale!
Here comes my favorite part, inhale reflection, exhale GRATEFULNESS! Greater Missouri thanks you for supporting us and investing in us. You give this organization life. Let me share with you a small snapshot of the wonderful ways you’ve partnered with us in 2021 – take into account all moving parts and minds! As Challengers, contributors and planners you physically showed up to a virtual session with leadership discussions about statewide and regional issues in Columbia and Jefferson City, and then showed up in person for the Kirksville, Kansas City and St. Louis sessions. You showed up and out for our annual fundraising event when we recognize outstanding leaders at our “Women of the Year” luncheon held in Springfield in a hybrid event with virtual and in-person enthusiasm and you were AMAZING and INSPIRING!
Greater Missouri has planned another tremendous year of motivating events, social gatherings, “Lean-In” circles, reunions, and sessions for 2022. I want to give a warm thank you in advance to Katie, the Board and Council, regional coordinators, event chairs and planning teams and our thriving alumnae, sponsors, friends and network for your energy and commitment. Thank you for your engagement and financial support through sponsorships, donations, and renewing your alumnae dues.
Your PRESENCE is appreciated!
