There are all kinds of mothers in this world.

We may know them in different ways. Sister, friend, daughter, auntie, neighbor. Each has one thing in common, they all love with a mother’s heart. For all of the marvelous mother figures in our network, we celebrate you.

There’s nothing quite like a mother’s love, support, and friendship. Mother’s Day reminds us to honor those bonds: to show our appreciation for the biological moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, mom friends, and any other mother figures who make a difference in our lives.

That love is embraced by our devoted alumnae base. The mentorship and networking potential of our Greater Missouri Challenge alumnae and supporters aspiring to make a difference for our communities continues to progress. We celebrate the volunteers working to create unforgettable session experiences, welcoming the return of our Alumnae Conference packaged with our annual fundraising luncheon celebrating the 2022 Women of the Year. A growing team of passionate alumnae are bringing in new partnerships to sustain our program into the future. Our lifetime dues paying members continues to grow as do our nominations for future Challenge participants. Thank you for the unyielding patience, the indelible memories, and most of all, the unconditional love shown by supporting these activities.

Greater Missouri women have been my teacher, my counselor, my guardian, and my confidante. Happy Mother’s Day to the best anyone could ask for. This month we honor the women who made me who I am— and unequivocally, that includes you! Thank you for showing me unconditional love over the years and supporting me and the board as we work to nurture and grow GMLF.
