Happy Summer Greater MO! I hope you are enjoying this Missouri season with your family & friends.

In June, the 2023 Challengers gathered in Kansas City for a wonderful session focused on educating the cohort in the areas of: Urban Issues, Diversity & Race Relations: Impact on Urban Renewal & Economic Development, The Non-Profit Community, and Women in Leadership. It is wonderful to see this new group of dynamic leaders connecting and learning together. The schedule was rich with panels, tours and discussions that achieved the session objectives. This year we gathered with Class members and Alumnae at the Kansas City Current match. I feel renewed after spending this time together!

Your Greater MO board of directors continues to work to provide a dynamic experience to our current class cohort and YOU, our valued alumnae. I hope you will join us as we gather in St. Louis on July 18-19 for the 2023 Alumnae Reunion. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow alums, meet new people in the GMLF network and enhance your leadership skills. Will you join us in St. Louis? Register by July 10 to join us: greatermo.org/alumnae-retreat.

Following the Alumnae Reunion we will gather for Greater Missouri’s marquee fundraising luncheon on July 19 to honor our 2023 Women of the Year. Greater MO will be joined by four dynamic women who are the 2023 honorees. I hope you will join us at the luncheon to meet and learn more about the leadership journeys of: Sandra M. Moore, Dr. LaTonia Collins Smith, The Honorable Jean Carnahan and Sara Foster. By joining us at this important event you help us continue carrying out the Greater MO mission of “educating and inspiring women leaders to make a difference.” The deadline to purchase tickets is July 10. Purchase your ticket or become a sponsor: greatermo.org/women-of-the-year.

It is hard to believe how quickly the year is progressing! This means that Greater MO is actively seeking nominations for the 2024 Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge. Please nominate and share the application with your network. Applications will be accepted until September 30.

The work of Greater MO is vital to our state. I hope you will consider how you can get more involved in the organization. I invite you to connect with our organization to become engaged in our great work. Greater MO needs YOU to continue educating and connecting women leaders in Missouri. Email our team to get involved: hello@greatermo.org

I look forward to seeing many of you in St. Louis on July 18-19! Best wishes for a safe and fun July 4th holiday.
