Hello GMLF Friends and Happy Spring! This is a fantastic time of year when my fascination with seeds is fully displayed. Tiny buds on Dogwood branches transform into beautiful flowers.  Tulips blossom from long before planted bulbs.  The process of fruition is in accordance with nature, production and even organizational events.  Greater Missouri shares a special connection with gardening, planting and cultivating seeds, too! Our gardeners are the committed women who take care and emergent strategy into architecting new and sustainable landscaping into an already established garden of successful women in leadership!

Our first session for the Class of 2023 was held in Columbia and Jefferson City March 4-6. We have another amazing class of Challengers this year who are full of energy. The class meets in Kansas City June 14-16 and we are busy planning the schedule. Thank you to the regional coordinators and planning teams who work to provide a meaningful experience for these challengers. You can learn more about the class here.

This year we gather in St. Louis for the annual Alumnae Conference on July 18. This is a wonderful time for the sisters of GMLC to gather, reconnect and learn! We hope you can join us. Be sure to make your hotel reservation at the beautiful and historic Chase Park Plaza Hotel. Plans are coming together and we will open registration soon (making some website changes-stay tuned!).

We are also preparing for the annual recognition of outstanding women leaders at the Greater Missouri Women of the Year luncheon. The celebration will take place on July 19 at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel. The WOY Luncheon will inspire attendees and organization leaders as they learn more about this year’s honorees and their commitment to advancing opportunities for all women. This event will sell out! Get your sponsorship secured early.

Our Board of Directors will be meeting in Columbia for our quarterly meeting next week. We have many opportunities for you to engage in our strategic work. You can sign up to volunteer and share your unique talents as we continue to educate and inspire women leaders to make a difference.
