Congratulations to GMLC Class of 2023 cohort member Abby Glenn who has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Business Development Officer, at Central Bank of the Ozarks. We look forward to celebrating this advancement during our June session in Kansas City!

Abby had previously served as a Business Development Officer for Central Bank for for the last two years. She manages business relationships with clients, providing financial advice for customers, exceeding expectations of service by offering business banking solutions for a variety of complex business solutions. She’s involved in many community activities to develop new business opportunities for the bank, often presenting business banking solutions based on economic and industry market trends.

Prior to Abby joining Central Bank of the Ozarks, her career was in nonprofit development serving Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri as the Development Director. She supported the organization’s fundraising, marketing, and volunteer efforts for nearly seven years.

Abby is a two-time graduate of Drury University, earning her B.A. Arts Administration, Minors in Music & Theatre Performance Drury University 07-11, M.A. Nonprofit Communication Drury University 11-13.

Abby serves on the boards of The Kitchen, Inc., Burrell Foundation, Rotary Club of Springfield, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is an active volunteer with Ozarks Literacy Council and Harmony House’s Purple Party event. Abby is a graduate of Leadership Springfield, Class 35 where she discovered her top five strengths of communication, achiever, activator, discipline, and focus. Abby was named one of 417 Magazine’s 20 under 30 in 2016.

Beyond her professional activities, Abby is a member of the Springfield Chamber Chorus, a local group of Springfield choral artists, and she actively trains for half-marathons with the Fleet Feet Running Club. Abby is proud to have called Springfield, Missouri home for the past 15 years, and lives in the Historic Commercial Street district with her longtime boyfriend Josh, dog Tucker, and cat Shanti.
