Congratulations to Christina “Kris” Brumfield Class of 2005, who has received several outstanding Boeing Awards and Celebratory Achievements.

In December 2022 Kris celebrated 30 Years with Boeing, in January 2023 she received Boeing’s most Elite Awards in Engineering, Women of Color – Associate Technical Fellow (ATF), she is the first WOC-ATF representing Boeing Global Services (BGS). She is also an ATF Board Committee Member for Patents and Design Practices.

In June, Kris was selected as one of fourteen Women Of Color in STEM Stellar Award winners and will receive Boeing’s Technology All-Star Awards. She will celebrate with other WOC Awardees representing Lockheed Martin and Raytheon at the WOC 2023 STEM Conference in Detroit.

In July, Kris was appointed to represent Boeing as the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Technical Liaison helping Boeing achieve success through Boeing/SWE External Technical Association (ETA) partnership.

Kris is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, Texas – (BS) Electrical Engineering. Congratulations Kris!

Julia Gaines (GMLC Class of 2018) and Brett Montag each found someone they would like to share life with again❤️. She said YES when he asked the special question at the iconic Glenn’s Cafe in Columbia – the place of their first date.
