Columbia Chamber of Commerce Awards GMLC Graduates for their Leadership to Community

At the Annual Awards Celebration for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce members celebrated the successes of the 2019-2020 program year and thanked their dedicated Chamber volunteers for all of their support. Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation alumnae were front and center as the awards were announced.

During the event, awards were presented to Jennifer Schenck, Co-owner and Founder of The Connection Exchange, and a member of the GMLC Class of 2018, recipient of the Debin Benish Outstanding Businesswoman Award; to Charlene Doherty-Jayamanne, Owner of Juice Plus+,and a member of the GMLC Class of 2004, recipient of the George & Nadine Trial Ambassador of the Year Award, and Michele Spry, President of Midway Electric, Inc., and a member of the GMLC Class of 2012, recipient of the Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award.

Congratulations for this recognition to these outstanding Greater Missouri women whose significant contributions, leadership and commitment to their peers within the Columbia community are applauded and recognized. It is inspiring to see this excellence in corporate citizenship.
