The University of Missouri College of Education recently celebrated the legacy of longtime supporter Jolene Marra Schulz, 2000 GMLC Alumna, with the establishment of the Jolene Marra Schulz Partners Advancing Education Endowment.  To honor Jolene, the MU College of Education entrance into Townsend Hall will be designated the Jolene Marra Schulz Lobby.

The special Endowment named for Jolene Schulz will support programming initiatives that are critical for College of Education student success, including a professional development series, just-in-time learning, and other experiential learning opportunities.  Jolene, originally from Bevier, Missouri, received her BS in Education in 1963 and her Masters in Education in 1973 from the University of Missouri.  She enjoyed a 40-year career in education, and created the Partners in Education program in the Columbia Public Schools.  She is presently co-owner of Tiger Trolley Tours in Columbia.

Congratulations Jolene!
