On January 1, 2020 Stacye Smith, GMLC 2014, will assume the title of Director of Inclusion and Engagement at Shelter Insurance.  Stacye will supervise Shelter’s efforts in the following areas:

• Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives and Strategic Planning
• Employee Engagement and Community Impact
• Corporate Employee Communications and Strategic Planning

Stacye has worked with Shelter Insurance for over 30 years, most recently serving as the Director of Human Resources.  She also served in positions in Underwriting, Training and SBMI (HR).  This new role is a natural fit for her in that she has demonstrated an unmatched knowledge and passion for diversity, inclusion, employee engagement and community impact.

In addition, Stacye was recently recognized by the Columbia Missourian as a finalist for the “Progress in Social Justice Award”. Congratulations Stacye!!!
