Congratulations to GMLC Alumna Lindsay Young Lopez ’12, who was honored with the Columbia Daily Tribune’s 2017 Women in Business Professional Excellence Award!  Lindsay, who is the Executive Director of the Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri was honored at a luncheon on October 17.

Under Lindsay’s leadership, the food bank has strengthened partnerships with 140 pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other partner agencies and has grown the Buddy Pack program to serve 157 schools.  She has worked to improve the quality of food being distributed, working to acquire more fresh produce, protein, and dairy products.
