Nikki McGruder, Class of 2018, became engaged to her best friend Robert Carter recently during a surprise engagement party held in Columbia. Hosted by her fiancé, her daughters, her family, and special friends, the evening was a delight for all who were able to share in the special event.

This marks another life change for Nikki who last August became the inaugural Director of Diversity and Inclusion for University of Missouri Health Care. A graduate of Columbia College where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Nikki also has a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development and and MBA from Webster University.
