The St. Louis Business Journal recently recognized Yemi Akande-Bartsch, GMLC 2014 alumna, with the 2019 Diverse Business Leaders award. This recognition was established over a decade ago to honor those who promote diversity around race, sexual orientation and disability.

In addition, Dr. Akande-Bartsch was recently named Chair, Sub-district Commission of the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Dr. Akande-Bartsch is President & CEO of FOCUS St. Louis, the region’s leading civic leadership organization. She has more than 15 years of experience in designing and facilitating leadership training, development, and coaching programs.
