As a lifelong educator in Missouri schools, Dr. Karen Hall (Class of 2022 and Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University) is passionate about providing an accessible and excellent education for ALL students. Her commitment to children has led her to a new project in collaboration with Sarah Riss, the Director of the Missouri Superintendents Academy.

They have established a new organization that will support those leaders at the forefront of educational equity work as they invite school leaders of DEI to join the Missouri School Leaders of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, a structured convening for educational leaders within Missouri who desire networking, support, and encouragement. The Missouri School Leaders of Diversity Equity and Inclusion aims to fortify individual and collective efforts to lead transformative system change towards educational equity. This convening will provide support facilitation and networking opportunities that center care practices to sustain equity work for leaders within public, independent, and charter schools.
