Tina Olson, Ed.D. returned to Boone Health this fall working as a Human Resources Business Partner. Tina is a graduate of the GMLC Class of 2010, is a former member of the GMLF Board of Directors and is currently a member of our Alumnae Council. In addition, in 2019 she was named as our Alumna Leader of the Year.

Tina joins Michelle Zvanut (GMLC Class of 2015) who serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Boone Health. Tina tells us she is beyond excited to work under Michelle’s leadership.

Boone Health is a 392-bed full service hospital located in Columbia, Mo. It is a regional referral center located in the center of the state. The hospital provides progressive healthcare programs, services, and technology to people in 25 mid-Missouri counties.

Tina’s primary groups to support are Home Health and Hospice and the Physicians/Medical Groups. She is the point person for compliance and will be the lead in the department for diversity and inclusion. Since Tina worked at Boone before she says it feels like coming home; “we’re in a major transition with Boone Health moving into an independent hospital after being part of BJC for many years.”
