Members of  the 2017 Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge class visited Ameren, Monsanto, and Boeing in November.

GMLC 2017 class members experienced an inspiring session in St. Louis in early November, before graduating at a ceremony at The Boeing Company on November 10.

Our Session IV in the St. Louis area included visits to our sponsors, Ameren, Boeing, and Monsanto, as well as to Nestle Purina and to Cortex and the Center for Emerging Technologies.  We also learned about some of today’s challenges for healthcare from BJC HealthCare leaders.

The session was met with enthusiastic reviews from our 2017 Challengers, with ratings of 4.6, 4.8, and 4.6 (out of a possible 5.0) for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday respectively, and a rating of 4.7 overall for the St. Louis session!  A few comments from Challengers included “Amazing panels each day!  The best ones yet!” and “I appreciate the themes of innovation, science, technology, and global impact.  Everything fit together well and I learned a lot.” and “I picked up tips to help in motivating my staff when I get back to work.”
