Congratulations to our Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation intern Julia Weber who graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City during a ceremony held at Kauffman Stadium. This event celebrates the resiliency and tenacity of Julia who was forced to move back to Springfield to complete her senior year virtually to comply with COVID protocols. She will continue her study through an Industrial-Organizational Psychology graduate program.
Joining her in celebration is her boyfriend Ethan Pinto who also graduated from the UMKC Conservatory of Music. While you have met Julia before you might not be aware that Ethan is a jazz and modern-contemporary musician born and raised in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and is now based out of Kansas City. Although Ethan grew up playing piano from an early age, he is most known for his work playing upright and electric bass.
Ethan will continue with his musical career as he joins Julia when they begin their new adventure next fall. In the meantime, following a celebratory summer vacation, Julia will continue to work with GMLF as her busy schedule will allow. She plans to join us in Springfield for the Woman of the Year event when you can meet her IN PERSON!
