While our Women of the Year annual fundraising luncheon scheduled for late July in Springfield has been cancelled, we are not going dark in the middle of this pandemic. We are seizing a “lights-camera-action” opportunity to add new value to a suddenly virtual world.
We are pleased to announce our “Inspiring Conversations Series with past Greater Missouri ‘Women of the Year’ Recipients”.
- Meet and learn from these distinguished change makers, thought leaders, and influencers.
- Each conversation allows our featured speakers to share their insights on important challenges, opportunities, and issues of the day.
- Reconnect with your class members and other Challenge Graduates and Alumnae
- Every person in the audience will be encouraged to learn more or do something to influence and participate in solutions important to Missouri.
Our board embraces the notion that we should not cancel our fundraising to support Challenge Class scholarships because — even though it’s hard — we have benefited from our sponsors’ support from across the state for over 30 years. Although we can’t meet in person we need to come together for connection, inspiration, and networking. In addition, we think it is a good time to recognize women leaders of the past while inspiring those of the future.
The dates and participants are still being determined, but we are now soliciting sponsorships for this series. Our events will feature live streaming and pre-recorded interviews, repurposed archived footage, motion graphics and animation, and iPhone compilations. Our goal is to showcase these outstanding professional women in a high-quality way and our sponsors can ensure that our production goes smoothly.
Join us as a sponsor by completing this form now.
Share with your friends and colleagues today! Individual tickets for the series will go on sale later this summer.
We hope you’ll support us during this activity. Be watching as further details are announced. If you would like to volunteer to assist, please contact Katie at KDanner@GreaterMO.org or by phone at 417-527-2888.
