She has been serving for 10 years and has been integral to the important work as the Trustees help to transition the hospital to an independent community hospital. Boone Hospital Center will be transitioning from the BJC HealthCare system April 1, 2021.

Jan has worked as an Intensive Care nurse in hospitals in California, St. Louis and Columbia. Since her retirement, she has volunteered extensively in the nonprofit community. She was first elected a Trustee in 2011. She is currently the only woman serving on the board and is serving as the Board Secretary.
