Karen M. Miller

2017 Greater Missouri Leadership Alumna Leader

Karen Miller served 24 years as a Boone County Commissioner.  She was President of the National Association of Counties from 2003-2004.  Karen was named one of the 2008 Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers by Government Technology Magazine. She has received the Chamber of Commerce Debin Benish Outstanding Business Woman Award and the Women’s Network ATHENA Award.

Karen Miller is 2011 Alumna of GMLC, and led creation of a Regional Council Model for GMLC. She is committed to helping women excel through networking and connecting, and is known in Boone County for her “Parties with a Purpose”.
