Kelly Schultz, GMLC Class of 2013, assumed the role of the Director of the Legislative Leadership Academy at the University of Missouri’s Truman School of Government and Public Affairs. A new program in Missouri, the Legislative Leadership Academy will be based off several successful models of leadership development for legislators in other states. In addition, Schultz will be working with the Truman School’s undergraduate internships in the Capitol.
“I started working in the Capitol the Monday morning after I graduated due to my internship. My MU education, experience, and connections have given me a fulfilling career and it gives me joy that I get to open the door of opportunity for the next generation of civic leaders. It is truly a full circle moment in my career,” said Schultz. Schultz learned of this opportunity from a fellow GMLC alumnae.
Congratulations Kelly!
