Thalia Cherry, Class of 2012, was appointed to a new small business task force by Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas. Thalia is the Founder and CEO of Cherry Co. a Kansas City based sports gear company. The work of the task force is focused on supporting the city’s small businesses and entrepreneurs. Kansas City is preparing to host the 2026 World Cup and this task force will provide assistance to city businesses as they get ready for this exciting worldwide event. Thalia and the task force members will serve two year terms. Thank you Thalia for your continued leadership!
