If we gave awards to the Greater Missouri Challenge Class with the highest attendance registration rate for our Alumnae Reunion, one class would stand out. Is it yours?

Wait what? You haven’t registered yet? You should. The planning team is excited to welcome you to Columbia on July 19th & 20th and invite you to cap off your trip by staying for the Women of the Year luncheon at the Country Club of Missouri. Or do one or the other.

Work hard, play hard, right? Even if you work crazy hours, you still get days off and vacation time. Having friends to spend some of that down time with will help you really disengage from work for a little while, and you need that. And the thought of being away from a busy household for a couple of days should offer more encouragement to attend!

One of the best things about having friends within our Greater Missouri community is having memories of your challenge year. And we all know the best reminiscing always happens after a couple glasses of wine. With the planning team lead by Karen Miller, Gina Gervino, and Samantha Potter and enhanced by mid-Missouri alumnae you know there will be wine.

Not sure if your busy schedule will allow you to attend? You should reserve your room NOW to ensure a place to rest your head once that FOMO kicks in. The room block will be released soon. You will enjoy relaxed ways to connect, seek out inspiration, and find collaboration opportunities across a wide range of industries, interests and groups. You need this, especially after the isolation of these last COVID years.

The Broadway, a Doubletree by Hilton in Downtown Columbia will serve as our host hotel. We have negotiated a favorable group rate of $129 and encourage you to make your reservation before June 21, 2022, while knowing you can cancel up to 48 hours in advance with no penalty. You can register for the events easily and we encourage you to do so because we have to guarantee food and tours a couple of weeks out. Many businesses are paying for this as a professional development activity, and they are right to do so. If you decide last minute not to come; consider your registration as a donation to ensure the continuity of the Greater Missouri experience for future classes. But we really hope you attend. And we can offer refunds.

So join us. And ensure that your class is the “best ever”.
