Happy Spring! I just returned from a festive and fun trip with Mizzou’s marching band – Marching Mizzou – to Ireland. It was a wonderful experience and event to usher in the new season.
It was inspiring to gather with the Class of 2024 in Columbia last month. This year continues the tradition of 35 years of dynamic women leaders, passionate about their work and making a difference in their communities. Alumnae from the Mid Missouri region greeted the cohort during various stops throughout the Session. I hope alumnae in other regions of the state are able to do the same when the Challenge arrives in your community. You can learn more about what the class was up to during Session I here. We are incredibly grateful for our Session I sponsors generosity and support of our mission. The sponsors support the costs of meals and transportation throughout the session. Session II takes place in Springfield and Branson June 19-21.
I am happy to report that thanks to many, we have doubled our annual dues paying members! Thank you for showing your pride in being an active alumnae. To recognize our growing supporters, we have special 2024 lapel pins that our friends at DSPORT have helped us to create. We are distributing them now so be on the lookout. If you want to receive one of these for 2024, you can still take action by paying annual or lifetime membership dues.
