As we head into Q2 of 2021, I am so proud of the work we have already done this year. This month we have announced the recipients of our Woman of the Year, sponsors are joining us as we put together final details for the Woman of the Year Celebration to be held July 21st, we have welcomed new members to our Alumnae Council, we have scheduled a free lunch hour event for busy working Moms on May 25th, we are busy with final details for our in-person session to take place in Kirksville June 9-11 with our first joint session for the Class of 2020 and 2021 participants, and we have recruited a new regional coordinator in Juli Shaw to assist our session planning and a planned alumnae reunion for St. Louis this November.
We are very fortunate to be able to continue doing what we love to do – fostering substantial connections between emerging women leaders from across our state – and we look forward to beginning in-person sessions for our combined Challenge Classes from 2021 and 2020. In the meantime, we are so grateful to alums from across the state that are providing invaluable planning for all of these events.
Additionally, as we work to maintain momentum with our virtual programming, I hope that I can still count on you for support while so much is still uncertain. I invite you to join us for our virtual events AND when events occur in your region. Better yet, can contact us if you would like to plan and/or host an event for area Greater Missouri supporters or you have an idea for a virtual gathering. Any idea to bring our Challenge graduates together or to introduce the organization to prospective new challenge participants makes a difference and will help us continue to thrive as an organization.
Be sure to follow our events section of the website as plans unfold. And plan to join us for each event as you can!
