As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, I find myself reflecting on all we’ve accomplished this year at Greater Missouri. Our collective leadership and determination have made a significant impact across our communities, and it’s inspiring to witness the strength and influence of the women who make up this incredible organization.

November is always a pivotal month for Greater Missouri. This year, the Board of Directors will convene in Columbia, MO (and virtually) to select the 2025 Class of the Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge. It’s an exciting time as we prepare to welcome a new cohort of dynamic women, ready to carry our legacy forward as we approach our 36th year.

Alongside selecting the new Class, we’re also ushering in new leadership at the Board level. We are thrilled to welcome several outstanding women who will bring fresh perspectives and ideas to our efforts. At the same time, we extend our deepest thanks to our retiring Board members, whose dedication and service have been invaluable.

While we look ahead, we’re also focused on the present. Our 2024 Challenge Class is gearing up for their final session in St. Louis, which will culminate in their graduation. This group has demonstrated incredible passion and commitment throughout the year, and we’re excited to celebrate their achievements as they join the ranks of our esteemed alumnae.

I’d also like to extend my gratitude to the many alumnae who have participated in local gatherings throughout the state. Your involvement keeps our network strong and vibrant, and we encourage all alumnae to join in upcoming events. If you’re interested in hosting a gathering in your area, please reach out—we’d love to support you!

Looking ahead, don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Women of the Year Luncheon and Alumnae Reunion, scheduled for July 23rd and 24th, 2025. Our Springfield luncheon’s success will set the stage for an unforgettable reunion in Branson, where we’ll dive into professional development opportunities with the help of BIZ 417. Keep an eye out for registration details, which will be available soon.

Finally, I want to take a moment to celebrate the achievements of our alumnae. Many of you are receiving well-deserved awards and recognition, and it’s truly inspiring to see the impact you’re making. As we wrap up the year, let’s keep the momentum going—whether by attending events, volunteering, or spreading the word about Greater Missouri. Your involvement is what drives our success and shapes a future where women lead with confidence, compassion, and strength.

Thank you for being an essential part of this vibrant community. I’m excited to see all that we’ll accomplish together in the months ahead.
